Learn about who we are, what drives us, and the people behind Keep Life Safe Foundation
Keep Life Safe Foundation for the Less Privileged was founded in 2022 to promote the rights of patients, assist vulnerable rural dwellers to access healthcare services, reduce infant and maternal mortality, and promote public awareness on bioethical issues — particularly trafficking in persons for organ removal.
We work at the intersection of healthcare access, bioethics, and anti-trafficking intervention — addressing not just the crime of organ trafficking, but the poverty, inequality, and weak healthcare systems that make it possible in the first place.
Today, KLSF operates medical outreach programs, runs menstrual hygiene and maternal health initiatives, supports rural education through scholarships, trains healthcare professionals in bioethics, and leads awareness campaigns on organ trafficking prevention.
“No human body should ever be reduced to a source of organs for survival or profit. Every person deserves dignity, protection, and ethical healthcare.”
The founder of Keep Life Safe Foundation established this organisation in 2022 after witnessing firsthand the devastating gap in healthcare access facing rural communities — and the dangerous vulnerability this creates to organ trafficking and exploitation.
Driven by a commitment to human dignity and bioethical principles, the foundation was built to address not just healthcare access, but the deeper systemic conditions that make exploitation possible.
Keep Life Safe Foundation was born from a direct encounter with the reality facing millions of rural Nigerians — communities where the nearest hospital is hours away, where mothers die from preventable causes, where young girls drop out of school due to lack of basic health support, and where poverty makes people dangerously vulnerable to traffickers.
The founder recognised that organ trafficking does not start with organs — it starts with vulnerability. It starts when someone cannot afford healthcare. It starts when a desperate father cannot feed his children. It starts when a young person is lured with false promises of employment or medical travel abroad.
The response was not to wait for government intervention, but to act — to bring healthcare directly to communities, to educate families on bioethical risks, and to build a network that protects the most vulnerable from exploitation.
To reduce human vulnerability by improving access to healthcare, promoting education, and advancing bioethical awareness aimed at preventing organ trafficking and related forms of exploitation.
A society where no person is exploited for organ removal, and where healthcare systems uphold human dignity through strong bioethical principles and effective safeguards against organ trafficking.
Five official aims registered with the CAC that guide every program, decision and activity of KLSF.
See Our ProgramsTo promote the rights and dignity of patients and vulnerable people — upholding the principle that the human body must never be treated as a commodity or source of exchangeable parts.
To reduce infant and maternal mortality rates in rural communities through education, skilled birth attendance promotion, antenatal care campaigns and healthcare access programs.
To assist vulnerable rural dwellers to access healthcare services — delivering medical outreach programs to communities where poverty and location create dangerous exposure to exploitation.
To educate rural communities on health, dignity, and protection — empowering people to recognise exploitation risks, resist manipulation, and seek support when threatened.
To promote public awareness on trafficking in persons for organ removal — training healthcare workers in bioethics and collaborating with anti-trafficking networks to prevent exploitation.

KLSF saved my life during childbirth. The nurses knew exactly what to do when complications arose.

Before KLSF came to our village, we had to travel 3 hours for basic medical care. Now we have monthly medical camps and our children are healthier. Thank you KLSF!

The KLSF bursary kept me in medical school when my family couldn't afford tuition. I'm now committed to serving rural communities after graduation.
